To Marjorie Moorefield You wrote: "I'd be happy with a Sinemet patch. Sinemet 25/100 works wonderfully for me-----When I remember to take it!!!! I had problems remembering to take mine and as you say there is such a fine line between ons and offs that I found that I would possibly go about half an hour or even an hour over when I should take the medication and by then I knew I would be in trouble even if I felt OK at that point as I would soon then start to go off and it would take ages to get back on again. So I invested in a "Pill Meter" which is available here in the UK from centers specialising in disability equipment. It then beeps at me every 3 and a half hours to remind me to take my tablets(as long as I remember to reset it every time, which I have been known not to do then I'm back to square one, or I leave it out of earshot!). It has a drawer to put my tablets in so I always put my next days quota in last thing at night so I can keep tabs (pardon the pun!) on my medication intake. I must admit I sometimes find it annoying when it goes off when I'm in the middle of something but at least it means I usually take my pills on time. Best wishes Susan 43/11 [log in to unmask]
