I know what you mean about "when I remember to take it".

I had problems remembering to take mine and as you say there is such a fine
line between ons and offs that I found that I would possibly go about half an
hour or even an hour over when I should take the medication and by then I
knew I would be in trouble even if I felt OK at that point as I would soon
then start to go off and it would take ages to get back on again.  So I
invested in a "Pill Meter" which is available here in the UK from centers
specialising in disability equipment.  It then beeps at me every 3 and a half
hours to remind me to take my tablets(as long as I remember to reset it every
time, which I have been known not to do then I'm back to square one, or I
leave it out of earshot!).   It has a drawer to put my tablets in so I always
put my next days quota in last thing at night so I can keep tabs (pardon the
pun!) on my medication intake.

I must admit I sometimes find it annoying when it goes off when I'm in the
middle of something but at least it means I usually take my pills on time.
