Research dollars spent now will be primarily for our children, our
children's children, etc. Many of us are too old to get much benefit
from current or future medical research, but we are the primary
beneficiaries today of medical research from the 1920 - 1970 era.
We should not be so greedy as to deny the possible benefits of
research to those in the following generations.
