Hello Bob Gilbert Welcome Hope you get lots of e mail on this. I was diagnosed Dec l994 @ age 63 and started w/Eldepryl & for me it worked great until this this past Feb - loss of dexterity in left hand & left leg got worse so I tried Sinemet 25/l00 - it only made me nausaus & I didn't see improvement so I quit taking it. Now I've added Symmetrel/Amandatine l00 mg x 2 per day & for me it's working great. My left hand swings when I walk now!!! Research & learn all you can - it's your body & PD is so indiividualized that only you will know if meds are doing their job. My HMO family dr is easier to talk to than my Neuro.
