My mother 86/with PD also began to suffer from itching skin but we have solved the problem by giving her clothes and sheets and towels an extra rinse in the washer to get all the detergent out of the cloth. We also use softener in that last rinse. Don't use "Bounce" sheets in the dryer as they can be an irritant to some people.
