Emma asked: Is there anyone out there who has had a chld despite taking sinemet.? A wonderful book every young PWP should read is: Parkinson's, a Personal Story of Acceptance by Sandi Gordon. Sandy started noticing symptoms of PD when she was in her late twenties. She and her husband had three small children. The actual diagnosis of PD came when she was eight months pregnant with her fourth child and sinemet was started immediately. Though she had Sinemet only the last four weeks before birth, there was no known negative effect at that point. What is the effect during the early part of pregnancy? Hopefully someone else will know the answer.
