Friday evening, April 25, on 20/20, Hugh Downs mentioned that Billy Graham would next week's 20/20 guest. . In past interviews Billy has not come out of the closet about his PD. Why does he remain mute on this subject? His celebrity would help the PD cause. National PD organizations have asked him for his help, with no success. Call, 20/20 ABC, 1-800 895 3050, or E-mail ABC network to suggest that they include a question about PD in next week's interview. Recently, Billy was on the Larry King show. Again, no acknowledgement of his PD illness. He lives in Greensboro, NC. The local paper is the Greensboro News and Record, 200 E. Market St., Greensboro, NC, 27401. I will send them a copy of this message. Is any one else puzzled by bis silence? Billy told Barbara Walters that he felt that he was a failure in life. My Neurologist, of course, attributed this remark to Billy's chemical PD depression. Yes, I have Parkinson's, and freely admit to this.
