In out Parkinsons group we have people who delay taking medication like Sinemet as long as possible, as they feel that the medication will only be effective for 10 years. We also have people who take the Sinemet as soon as it is prescribed as they feel they will not live for another 10 years anyway. It is up to you to decide. Now, if only we knew how long we had, eh?
