Thomas, I take regular sinemet 25/100, 1 every 2 1/2 to 3 hrs, 1 eldepryl a day and 3 Permax (.25 each) per day. I've been taking sinemet and eldepryl since late 93 - just started Permax about 2 months ago. I'm not sure if what I'm going thru lately is the same as yours, but some of it is similar to your situation. I find that when I 1st wake up in the mornings, I actually seem to have less shuffling and freezing, but within 15 min's of waking, those symptoms do begin again. I've noticed that at mid day and night, these symptoms are more pronounced and occur much more. What can I do to help? I sit a lot at my job & at home and my theory is that these symptoms are worse when I'm sitting a lot, because they seem to lesson and go away once I get busy doing something and/or get physically active (i.e. walk, move around). Food also effects these symptoms - if I eat a big meal, lots of meat at mid-day, the "off" is worse. Hope this helps - ANYBODY got any thoughts on my "sitting too long" theory? "Mark F.
