HI ALL- In today's Pittsburgh Post Gazette
Washington-
High doses of Vitamin E may slow the deterioration of some patients suf=
fering with Alzheimer's disease,

says a study released yesterday. It also found selegiline, a commonly =
prescribed medicine for Parkinson's
disease under the brand name Eldepryl, was virtually as effetive as the =
vitamin. The results of the two-year

study being published in today's New England journal fo medicine do not =
represent a cure or a prevention

for Alzheimer's.
