Hello Jane,
My name is Nigel Harland, I am 42 years old and was
diagnosed as having Parkinsons 8 years ago. I was very interested to read
that your friend John has had the implant, as my neurologist suggested this
as an option for me when I saw him last week. If john can find the time, I
would very much like to hear from him about how he feels now, has the
operation enabled him to reduce medication? also does the implant cut out
the involuntary movements as well as the tremor? Best wishes,
               [log in to unmask]
