The older the majority of the people are, the more votes they have, and the more decisions are made in their favor. As the population ages, we get more and more done in our favor, leaving the debts to our children. One suggestion, eliminate the amount we pay for self inflicted diseases like lung cancer, and use this money for Parkinsons research instead!
