Carl M..

Hey Carl.... I'd have sent this to ya via email, however, ya I didn't see an
email address for ya on your message (hint hint) <grin>

I'd REALLY like to have at least ONE of those PD pins you've described in
your message, below. It sounds like it's just what I'm looking for.

Of course, I realize you've got 'em earmarked for the Parkinson's Awareness
Event later this month.... BUT... if there's one left over, will ya put my
name on it, and drop me an email, please? (see below)

I'll snail mail a check for it to wherever you designate, presuming you'll
snail mail the pin on to me upon receipt of my check.

Thanks alot...

Subject: New Pin available and a BIG meeting!

The Atlanta, GA Parkinson support chapter is giving a pin for donations to the
Emory University Movement Disorders research group. It is a beautiful
cloisonne pin 3/4" square with a red sunburst on the horizon on a green
background. At the top of the sunburst in gold letters "Find The Cure" and
below the sunburst "PARKINSON'S". We plan to make this pin available at the
Second Annual Parkinson's Disease Awareness Weekend May 17, 1997 at the
Georgia
Agricenter in Perry, GA. At I-75 in the center of GA.

Over a thousand people from all over the country attended the meetings, booths
and health fair last year, and we are expecting a good many more this year. I
t
will be preceeded by a dance at the Al Sihah Shrine Temple in Macon, GA on the
evening of the16th. The featured speaker on the 17th will be Ray Watts, MD,
Emory University, an internationally known Parkinson's Disease Research
Physician. If any of you on this list want to attend, please do. This is an
informative and fun event.
