To Joy and other listmembers: The antidepresant Nefazodone (Serzone) is a tricyclic similar to Trazidone (Desyrel) but with somewhat fewer side effects for most people. It does (as do most other antidepressants) have the potential for interacting with Selegeline (Eldepryl) and cause a hypertensive crisis. I believe this possibility is low, but the Serzone should be started in a very low dose and increased gradually and monitered very carefully. Perhaps there are other PWP's who have experience with this combination. -Jerry Starr, RPh.
