Good for you, Rita!  Your experience echoes some of ours with
hospitalization.  I've sometimes thought that the key to protecting the
patient is assertiveness.

I've discovered that even if there's a family member there almost full time,
the family member must first be able to determine that something's wrong -
not always easy if the condition being treated is new territory for you - and
then, you must get someone to LISTEN to you and take action.  Not easy!  Your
husband is lucky to have you and your assertiveness-training.       Margie
