'Some' PWP must have been calling their Congressman's offices about FDA delaying Pramipexole, because when we were on the Hill yesterday, several Congressional staff people asked us if there was a problem with FDA related to Parkinson's Disease. We (Carole Walton and I) jumped in with both feet and complained that the drug has been approved, is ready to be shipped, and the final approval has not come from the FDA. They are VERY interested in this issue because they have regulatory powers over government agencies. If a Congrssional person asked for information, the agency responds IMMEDIATELY. Maybe it would be a useful thing for us to call our Congressman's offices and complain loudly!! I can't put my hands on the toll-free number for the Capitol but it has been posted many times.
