HI MARY,

WHAT TYPE OF EXERCISE TRAINING DO YOU DO TO MAINTAIN FLEXIBILITY?
I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH PD IN JAN. OF 96.  I HAVE TREMORS IN MY LEFT ARM AND
HAND MOSTLY.  NOT TOO BAD UNLESS I GET NERVOUS OR UPSET ABOUT SOMETHING.  I
TAKE ELDYPRIL TWICE A DAY AND 1200 OF VITAMIN E.
SO FAR IT SEEMS TO HELP. ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES I THINK IT MAKES THE SHAKING
WORSE.  I DO NOT WANT TO TAKE ANY MORE DRUGS UNTIL I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE.  I
AM 45.  I HATE THE THOUGHTS OF GIVING IN TO THIS DISEASE.  AS A MATTER OF
FACT I PLAN ON MAKEING IT AS DIFFICULT ON PD AS I CAN.  IT WILL NOT BEAT ME.
 I WANT TO DO WHATEVER I CAN TO REMAIN AS ACTIVE AS POSSIBLE FOR A LONG AS
POSSIBLE.  IF EXERCISE WILL HELP, I WILL DO IT MORE.  I WALK EVERY DAY AND
ALSO PLAY GOLF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.  I KNOW THAT STRETCHING IS VERY
IMPORTANT, BUT NOT SURE WHAT ELSE WILL HELP.  I WILL BE WAITING FOR SOME
SUGGESTIONS.  THANKS. AND KEEP SMILEING, THE ALTURNATIVE GIVES YOU WRINKLES.
