Jim S.... Hey James... I ain't putting down the OZ-pin, but personally, I need want to wear something that SCREEEEAMS out "VISIBLE PARKIE HERE!" In my opinion, even the term "PD" which we use amongst us is unknown to the general population. I'm not looking to cast a fly into a stream and work that stream till a fish comes along and takes that bait and then struggle to reel it in. I WANT PARKINSON'S PEOPLE TO BE V_I_S_I_B_L_E!!! I want us to be "IN YER FACE" to the world that tries not to notice us! And a tulip, however pretty, simply can't convey that to me... BTW.... I've emailed PAN (Parkinson's Action Network) already to see if they'll make their badges available to List members, per Susan Hamburger's reference to them having a suitable badge available. I'll post here on the List when I get a reply from PAN. Barb Mallut [log in to unmask] -----Original Message----- From: Parkinson's Information Exchange On Behalf Of James F. Because some of are wizards, and the rest, like me, wander around in a dream. :-) ) pin is a very cryptic and intriguing yellow and red tulip, gold stem, on a pale blue background. Kinda makes ya want to say, "Hey, what's that?", and then wish you hadn't asked! :-) Stay well, Jim
