Hi, Debbie et al. The reason you see my name in the 'from' field is that I received your message in the form of an error message & just happened to have noticed that it was the 'looping mail' error. When you sent your messages to the list, you included the entire message you were responding to. The 'to' line pointing to the list alerts the listserver to a possible 'looping message' and it sends it to me as an error. I delete all the listserver lines and forwarded it to the list. Today when I checked my email, I had over 100 error messages so I don't always read the entire error messages and probably miss many 'looping messages'. So please do not include the entire message you are responding to. If you must include part of the message, delete the line pointing to the list. To see your message as it is posted to the list, send a message to the listserver [log in to unmask] and in the body of the note, type: set parkinsn repro Barb From: "Debbie White" <[log in to unmask]> Subject: What's going on? Date: Wed, 7 May 1997 21:32:17 -0400 Up until recently, when I posted a message on this list, I didn't receive it. But I knew from responses to my postings that they were getting through. Recently, however, I am retrieving my own message on this list, but in the "from" field is Barbara Patterson's name (as seen below). Does anyone know what's going on?? Is this someone specializing in movement disorders? Would love to get my mom hooked up with one. Thanks Debbie White [log in to unmask]
