Hi Liz, PBS at least locally featured Dr. Weil's seminars rather extensively during a recent pledge drive. I took a few notes which are now in some pile. From memory, he is trying to integrate natural therapies with drug and surgical therapies. He's a Harvard grad with background in both medicine and botany I think. Several years ago on a book by another doctor on generally taking good care of oneself, he included deep breathing exercises in the am and pm as part of a healthy regimen. I practice this for quite a time, and I felt my overall sense of wellbeing went up. I've fallen out of the habit but I think I'll reinstitute it.
