Billy B...

Hey Billy... I started getting PD symptoms at age 32, and that ISN'T exactly
"old age." I'm 54 now, and don't consider THAT "old age," either (tho
admittedly to SOME folks, that IS very old!) <but whadda THEY know!!) <grin>

Seriously, in my opinion, SOME symptoms of aging ARE perfectly normal as the
individual gets into middle age, but lets' get real here... those signs of
approaching old age just CREEP up on one slowly, and don't have anywhere NEAR
the severity that the "average" case of PD does.

I sure don't think "old age" is the much touted "golden years," but neither do
I think it's the sheer HELL of PD. "Old age" is NORMAL to all who live to
reach it. Parkinson's is NEVER a "normal" condition!

Don't we all get weaker as we age? We don't expect to keep the
strenth we had when we were 20 forever, do we? We seem to have a
tendancy to blame everything on our Parkinsons, when much of it
could simply be because of aging?
