Parkinsonism is rhe family name for a number of condtions with symptoms of
stiffness, tremor, poor co-ordination and poor balance.
In the Parkinsonism 'family' there are a number of disorders which are
called Parkinsons Plus. In the early stages it can be difficult to
distinguish Parkinsons Plus from ordinary Parkinsons. ( The absence of a
good response to anti-parkinson medications sometimes suggests a
diagnosis of Parkinsons plus.)

The first Canadian conference entirely devoted to their diagnosis and
treatment will take place June 14 1997 near Toronto.

This conference sounds like an excellent way to learn about Parkinsons
Plus.
