While other fine California facilities also now perform PD-related surgeries, and treatment, the one that's done more pallidotomies and related surgeries put together is Loma Linda University Medical Center's Movement Disorder Team, home of the well known and controversial Dr. Robert Iacono. Dr. Iacono, and Stanford University's Dr .Gary Heit performed my own pallidotomy on my REbirthday, 10/24/94, and I'll be forever grateful for them and their skill.
