Hi Jacob, Unknowing is nowhere near the same thing as being stupid, so never apologise on that score. :-) Dopamine can exist inside cells (intercellular), such as within the substantia nigra, or outside of cells (extracellular), as for example when released by other sites such as those recently discovered in the small intestine. What the relevance of the paper is escapes me, it is far too deep. I just direct such data to those who can understand it, and hope it helps the overall picture. Jim
