on thursday, may 21, a self-styled but i believe authentic "steering committee" of the "advocates" group met in washington. A report of the meeting --which was very cordial and included many of the thoughts ably expressed (as usual) by margaret tuchman -- is being finalized and will be sent to all of you over the next couple of days. i believe you will all agree that it is is a genuinely "unifying" and productive proposal . stay tuned ... robin e
