Dear Carol--welcome to the list. I can only say that when Peter gets really constipated he doews seem to have an increase in symptoms. Some of it in his case, I think, is caused by anxiety/stress over the dangerous situation, knowingthat impaction can be deadly and is a danger for PWPs. We surely know that stress of ANY kind can worsensymptoms, so maybe that's at least part of the cause?
