I am new to the list and my husband's name appears in the e-mail address but I am the one with Parkinson's Disease, and Multiple System Atrophy and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (just lucky I guess). I'm not sure what fraction I am, but it appears we all have something in common if it's not the denominator. I'm guessing I'm 45/5, and hoping it's not an IQ or something like that. I have enough evidence to satisfy myself that I know the cause of my disease, but to give it a fair and just hearing would it be permissible to have you serve as judge, jury, & counsel for the defendant on-line? The evidence to you must be hearsay, there being only one witness in most instances - the victim - me - but maybe by some means you can ferret out the truth of the matter. Is this ok? Some of you may have read part of my story at the Webforum at MGH. That will give you quite a bit of background information. I'll have to drop the legal analogy before long because I'm neither a lawyer nor a doctor or anything close. Should I go ahead and present my evidence or not? I really want an impartial trial and the truth to be known. As it stands now I am totally alone in my belief, and if I am proven wrong I will say that I had gotten to the place that I had few choices, the two most obvious being (1) die trying or (2) just plain, so I have been working on option (1). I have sailed on a few occasions around in the Chesapeake Bay near Anapolis, Maryland and I have one comment about the ship naming deal. With as much schlurred schpeech as I have had at times S.S. ANYTHING is bad news as far as pronunciation goes. Thanks. Janet Cornwell ([log in to unmask])
