Deanne, Deleted files are very easy to recover IF you do no further processing on the computer and you either: use file recovery/unerase software OR use the MS Debug program to manually change the delete flag for each file. This is made possible becuase the comoputer does not actually erase a file, it simply replaces the first character of the file name with a question mark (?) and then pretends the file is not there. To undelete it all you have to do is change the ? back to any character that is legal in a file name. Of course if you wait too long there is more and more of a chance that some or all of the file will be overwritten since the computer considers it to be available disk space. Also, this situation is a good example as to why you should backup your hard disks. ((I know, you can't find reverse on your disk *G*)) Then in the event of mental relapse or other catastrophic failure all you have lost is what was entered after the last backup.
