                                                                           My
husband has shy drager syndrome as well as Pd, and his blood pressure can
vary from 210/120 to 60/30. I have noticed that his speech and other
cognitive functions are better when his BP is higher. I think it is related
to the amount of blood or at least oxygen getting to the brain at any one
time. Of course, sometimes, when he stands up too fast, he passes out
altogether, but if he stays conscious, he seems very confused. He takes salt
tablets and several medications to help with this. Perhaps your neurologist
can help. Good luck.
