Hi Allan
My husband 76/11 takes the same meds as Barb. He has high B.P. Some days as
high as 210/105. I don't know if the BP is the problem or not--they're all
so doggone different are they! However he can be in 200s in the morning and
136 or so in the evening so maybe the medication DOES cause the BP to
fluctuate.
Mel does have periods of freezing-I understand that comes after years on
medication. His toes seem to stick to the floor-if I'm not around he will
get tired and sit down rather hard. He does fall a lot. I've read a lot on
the list about different Parkies having the postural hypotension where BP
drops when they stand up. Trick is to sit up slowly - rest a minute-then
rise to the feet. Barb probably does that so I don't know if this has been
any help or not
KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!
