When Mel was first put on CR, we noticed a lag in the a.m. dosage and the ND said "maybe he needs a kicker". She gave him 1/2 of yellow sinemet 25/100 and the response time of course is faster. Now, several years later I found Mel cut off in between all his doses almost. So, to hold him over til we saw the ND, I gave him a 'kicker' midway between his every 4 hour CRs. When we saw the ND, she said to continue the same. So he gets something every 2 hours. Mary CG Mel 76/11
