Since a healthy body can replace blood cells and volume in matter of days, and blood donation has no decernible neurological effects, it is highly questionable that PD would result from routine blood donation. A far more probable cause of your husband's PD may indeed be the fact that he was a firefighter. As he well knews, firefighters come in contact with many toxic (most are unidentified) in the process of fighting fires. ----- Regards Mary Ann
