Dear Ken,
Your "theory" about memory is also the theory of many who study memory and
recall. Apparently the problem is that as we age we have to sift through
many more files than say a 22 year old as we've lived longer and have more
memories and the result can be slower recall. It would seem that the ability
to "forget" can be a real strength and serve us well as long as we don't
forget what we want to remember. Am I making any sense?
Sincerely,
Barb (cg for Art-55, 5 mo.)
