Den,

I was recently diagnosed (so recently I think I am in self-denial) but I
started experiencing shoulder pains two years ago while taking a computer
class on campus with 700 freshmen and sophomores. For the last two years I
blamed my aches and pains on doing manual dexterity moves with an unsupported
arm. I still think that is some cause for the pain.

The frozen arm and pain have almost disappeared after two weeks of selegiline
twice a day. The tremors still persist (by the way - we have a history of
familial tremors which confused the diagnosis) but I can at least write my
name legibly. I am also taking a beta-blocker for high blood pressure as well
as stage freight (anxiety). The beta-blocker helps with the nervous tremors.

I have since sold my business (retail - 6 days/week) and am trying to avoid
all stress which seems to set off my tremor more than playing tennis or
lifting weights.

Are there any similar experiences?
