Dear Marling,
I haven't run across any references with regard to elevated
triglycerides or cholesterol in relation to either Sinemet or Eldepryl.
However, this doesn't mean it couldn't be true in your case. It just
means it hasn't occurred often enough to "become a statistic."

In any case, stress can cause a temporary rise in cholesterol and
triglycerides; and I believe you have been under considerable stress. I
know that's cold comfort, but perhaps better than a genetic
predisposition to elevated blood lipids. Of course, there are many
possible causes besides stress, and I'm sure your doctor is trying to
pin this down.
