> EMPOWERMENT! As our COMMUNITY develops on the internet, we
acquire numbers, and numbers = political power.
Also, KNOWLEDGE. Knowledge to share with others, knowledge
to make better decisions about my healthcare, and again, power, because
knowledge translates into power. For example, learning about CABESA in
the United Kingdom, or about surgery in Australia, or about electrode
stimulation in France, increase my sophistication, empower me with facts.
Finally, OUR MONEY.OUR PIECE OF THE PIE.. MONEY for research
for a cure, as we as a community become more articulate in knowing how to
ASSERT ourselves effectively, for example, through the UDALL BILL effort.
