Billy, I noticed that if I remember a particular event from my childhood, say for example, the day I got a particular gift, then a flood of related memories comes back, which might or might not be related to the gift. This shows that long since forgotten information is stored, and retrievable. I guess this is like a ROM chip where the info is burned in, and does not depend on battery backup! Ken B
