At  Lore: When Gordon got stuck in a nursing home, briefly, three years
ago(post-op) they changed his meds too. They delivered his dinner an hour
after he was ready to eat, for instance, because he had stopped shaking to
eat, I mean. It was hot and he cna't stand heat-oh, well, you don't want to
hear it. I agree--you need a neuro that knows parkinson's. Just wade in. I
found the nurses at the home very nice but they have to follow orders, so
you need to change the orders. My solution was bring him home and with
home-health, he recovered. This is why I am always asking everyone to check
our home-health. Good luck.
