Dear Deanne, Thanks for the vote of confidence; I'm afraid, though, advanced osteoporosis requires more than the general nutrition advice I can provide at a distance. Had I the information necessary to make a complete nutritional assessment (lab reports, medical history, meds used, anthropometric measurements) it's possible that I could make some worthwhile suggestions. Without this, however, I advise that she be referred to a clinical dietitian who can work closely with her physician, to provide the calcium, magnesium, vits D & K that she almost certainly requires, in the correct amounts for her personal needs. I do wish her the best of care, and send my very best regards.
