Whilst this may seem lax on my part (and indeed may well be) there are a couple of reasons for this. The first, and most important is the simple matter of cost. The most a months supply of sinemet costs me from my chemist, is $A16.50. I have no idea as to what the cost would be if I got my supply from Europe but it would be considerably more than that. I know that most, if not all, EEC countries have excellent socialised medical systems, delivering 1st class services at little or no cost to EEC citizens. Understandably, but unfortunately, these do not extend to "blow ins" from Australia, who are required to pay their way. Secondly, I have a strong resistance to 'complicating factors'. I make simplifying my life a high priority and importing medications from 1/2 way round the world can be problematic. For these reasons I have chosen not to pursue your thoughtful and caring suggestion. BTW I enjoy reading your postings. Your ability to share your experience with PD is a valuable asset to this list.
