Ida Kamphuis: I like your logic, you are good, thank you, eh? Here in Canada, we pay, have always paid, a large amount in cigarette taxes. The reason cigarettes are still available in Canada, is because of the taxes. Just think, if cigarettes were outlawed, all the cigarette taxes would vanish, and, as a result, our governments would have to replace these cigarette taxes with yet another tax, eh? Believe you me, this is a large amount of tax dollars. Therefore, cigarette smokers actually, at least, here in Canada, pay for their health care costs. Now, your hero, Clinton, just put another one cent additional tax on a cigarette in the States. This is a start, but you still have a long way to go to catch up to Canadians, eh? [log in to unmask]
