Marling, your parents were fortunate to have a daughter who cared, and your children are fortunate to have you. If there were no sadness or loss in life, would we appreciate all the happiness and the pleasures as much? The people I really feel badly for are the ones who don't have anyone to care about, or, who don't care about anyone but themselves.
