Hello Phil,  If you have read any of my posts to the list, you may know that
I am strongly in favour of early treatment with levadopa. I have  attempted
to discuss this point with several neurologists but so far they have turned
out to be in agreement with me!  It's your comfort that will suffer if she
is unable to make up for the levodopa, although at 1 year you should not
have any great problems.
  It is when I look back to my own experiences at 1 year after diagnosis
that I can see how things have improved. I have quite cheered myself up by
that trip down memory lane. You know what they say- Nostalgia is not as good
as it used to be...
