Brian, Let me recommend that this special training be provided to dietitians, also. Here in the U.S. not all nurses address such issues as loss of appetite, unplanned weight loss, dry mouth, heartburn, constipation, protein needs, and intake of bone-protective nutrients. A team of trained nurses and dietitians would be a powerful tool for prevention of many problems associated with PD. -- Kathrynne Holden, MS, RD Editor-in-Chief, "Spotlight on Food--nutrition news for people 60-plus" http://www.fortnet.org/~fivstar and NUTRITION TOPICS copy-ready handouts http://www.dietetics.com/class/fivstar/ Tel: 970-493-6532 Fax: 970-493-6538
