Brian,
Let me recommend that this special training be provided to dietitians,
also. Here in the U.S. not all nurses address such issues as loss of
appetite, unplanned weight loss, dry mouth, heartburn, constipation,
protein needs, and intake of bone-protective nutrients. A team of
trained nurses and dietitians would be a powerful tool for prevention of
many problems associated with PD.
