We hope to hear from you soon, and to learn that the pramipexole has been the answer for you. Warmly, Margie and Dick Swindler AMEN and prayers for a healing and renewing time and you will walk out the door of the hospital with confidence (yes, I know they insist on wheeling patients out but anyway that's how I feel). YOU WILL BE MISSED HERE. She explains my fatigue as a symptom of PD. I am taking Sinemint CR, Amantadine, and Zoloft. Thanks for your reply. Patricia 60/3 yrs. Patricia, This happened to my husband early on and a new neurologis spotted that his B-12 was low. He prescribed shots because he said that Scandinavians sometimes did not absorbe from food and that B-12 is important to a neurologist. It took some doing to get the internist to agree ... the two doctors had "discussions". However, he now gives himself the shots and it has made quite a difference. Good luck. Virginia To Camilla re I have posted about our experience with Aricept, which unfortunately didn't help him, and apparently added insomnia, nausea, and anorexia to his symptom life, till we stopped it. Has anyone else had this experience with this med, whichso many have found helpful? He's now eating again a bit better and I hope will regain at least some of the 20 lbs he lost! I received a call from my cousin who had a friend react very badly to Aricept, ended up in the hospital for several weeks and is slowly recovering. Her friend has Parkinson's and she wanted to be sure we were aware of his problems with it. I am so sorry Peter had bad reaction and pray the 20 pounds will be added soon and that there is a solution for the other problems you mentioned. Virginia
