Bernard's comments strike me as sensible. I personally find it easier to manage ONE PD list (alongwith CARE, and several other lists I belong to) than I would to keep checking back and forth among several PD lists to be sure I didn't miss something important. I wonder how many of us are really ONLY interested in one or two aspects of this disease? One thing that would be a help in terms of time spent is something we repeatedly remind ourselves of---it is NOT NECESSARY when replying to a post to QUOTE the whole thing! Especially when it takes up many lines. I finally learned how to quote selectively when replying, and friends,if I can do it ANYONE can! :-) Even if you can't quote you can tell in a sentence or 2 what you are replying to in most cases. That, and changing the subject line when the subject changes would be a big help! As we've told ourselves on many occasions here,maybe a bit of "self-control" will go a long way toward easing the problems that concern us.
