When we first were told of the free numbers last year,I recall it was said they were set up (and paid for) by an organization--I think it was the Christian Coalition or some other "conservative" group. I guess either they have finished their lobbying for now, and closed the lines, or they learned that others were using the numbers and shut down for that reason....well "it was great while it lasted!"
