My thanks to Ida Kamphuis, Kathie Tollifson, Stephan Schwartz, Dr.
Charles Meyer, and others who shared their experiences and thoughts
on what Kathie calls this "satanic torture". The sensation occurs as
Steve notes after resting, or in my case, sitting, which is what I do
at work or at the computer at home.  I think what I'm feeling is an
indication of low dopamine, which is also the cause of RLS. It
appears relevant, as Charles notes, that the antipsychotic drugs
which have akathisia as a side effect are dopamine blockers.  I'm
going to try Ida's suggestion of overlapping my doses a bit.
