It is my understanding that questions about health cannot be asked. There is an ADA website and phone numbers. I would suggest you contact them with the question. I am not a lawyer but I don't think you can be sanctioned for a false answer to an illegal question. Refusal to answer the question is a red flag. Therefore I personally have no moral problem with your answer to the question especially if your PD is not relevant to what you are being hired for.
