From: Tebay, Wendy M on Thu, Jul 17, 1997 11:13 AM Subject: speed of onset To: PD Listserv Postings Altho' we can't regrow dead brain cells with a positive attitude, I believe that we can control pd's rate of progression by our attitude, and if one remains many years with mild symptoms, that is almost as good as a 'cure' in my book. Also, we don't use all of our brains, and I believe it to be possible to 'train' other parts of the brain to compensate for the diseased part, at least to some extent. (perhaps thru exercise and visualization/meditation). Wendy Tebay
