Hi Audrey,

I started using pycnogenol about 6 months ago
due to its strong antioxidant characteristics
and its ability to cross the blood/brain barrier
(so I read). So far it has had a provided a
boost in my energy level.

I'm taking 50 mg per day in the AM. This is a low
dosage. I read that 1 mg per pound of body weight
is recommended. I had trouble with diarrhea at
higher dosages so settled on the 50 mg dosage.

It has had no effect on my pd symptoms other than
the fatigue problem which it has definitely
helped. Since antioxidants are getting so much
attention I'm banking on the possible slowing of
pd progression due to its use. So far so good.

BTW, I also take 3000 IU of vitamin E and 1000 mg
of vitamin C each day. Just call me an
"antioxidant junkie!"

Regards,
Gray
